Main themes of this song were imperfection, power and corruption of politics. These themes are conveyed through the imagery of the White House as it represents purity and a place of order in the United States. However, due to the reality of politics, it has become clear to the public that this symbol of perfection has become tainted and flawed which has been highlighted by past and current issues. There is a clear contrast in the illustration, as in one perspective we are shown an artificial illusion of what Americans want politics to depict and the reflection beneath displays an exaggerated view of the harsh reality of the corruption within politics and society as a whole.
